“I knew your love, before you kissed me.”
I am in love with this album but this song is my jam right now. Mainly because of what it says and the feelssssss. ‘Fuck with Myself’ is my anthem and ‘Mind Games’ is my third runner up. This is a solid album by Banks, although I never expected less of her. She never disappoints. She reminds me of a living Penny Dreadful because her music is not the norm and her aesthetics aren’t either and I’m obsessed with her darkness. Definitely an artist I will always look forward to. If you’re new to her, you’re late, extremely late. Get on it.
Banks dropped her EP London this week and this has to be my favorite track on the project. I can’t stop listening to it. You can head on over to iTunes and download the 4 song EP for about $4. You won’t be disappointed.
Do I have to write it on your bedroom wall?
Banks takes a slightly different but beautiful route with “This is What it Feels Like” going a bit more electro filled with synths and not so dark (I like the darkness but this is awesome). Banks is touring with The Weeknd and will be here in Houston on September 24th.
I really enjoy her mystery and her black and white visuals.
You got my heart beating…
beating, beating, beating, beating.
You got my mind to follow,
follow, follow, follow, follow.
Lil Silva is a british producer who paired up with Banks to deliver us this bounce happy, feel good club song. I hate comparing music. I really do, (and I still do it lol) but Katy B comes to mind and the beat could easily be a Dev track too.
