So my boy was working his ass off in 2016 and keeping a low profile and just being low key experiencing life and its many diversities. 2017 is looking promising to Buck, he’s got new music, videos on the way, and just a whole different fusion of sound going on. This one is ‘Company’ featuring another H-Town figure, Fat Tony. After listening to a few edits of this song, this is the final cut and I feel like a proud mother LOL. This is a song that if you’re sober, drunk or high, you can get down with. It has that drunken adult vibe, not that kiddie “let’s black the fuck out to Lil Jon’s music” vibe but an adult “I know where the fuck I’m at” vibe. Kind of like a chill, but so alive feel. I’ve listened to it 3 times already on top of the like 500 others between rough drafts, acapellas and instrumentals. Give it a listen and show him some love on social media. His info is below.
For this piece, I’ve written a few times on Buck here. Buckamore is an artist who hails from Houston and I can’t classify him as a certain artist because he makes so much music in all genres. He’s a good friend of mine who let’s me put my creativity to work at times for cover art or any other format he needs. Take a listen to ATMP3 on his take on Bieber’s song. “Heartbreak Hotels” is the title of his next EP and will be coming soon. Yes! My dude finally released his video for the world to see. I’ve seen this guy start from the smallest of ideas to epic ass notions. I’m extremely proud of his work but more so, proud of him, his vision, his execution and his hunger for music and his life. This video contains so much work that you have to notice the effort he put into it. The music is beautifully dark and I wouldn’t want it any other way. Congrats Buck! You did it… we did it! Hahahaha. Thanks for involving me in so much of your work. I live vicariously through you.
*Little extra on this video. Buckamore is a Houston artist that quite honestly you can’t categorize as hip hop, rap, trip hop, etc. He’s quite the chameleon and just does what he feels over any track. This video contains zero footage of Buck as well as any other video you’ve seen thus far. Kevin Luna directed it and did a fantastic job with it. Bosstone in charge of reworking what inspired this song. If you like what you see and hear, follow Buckamore on FB, Twitter, Tumblr and Instagram. Links are as follow:
